Free Work at Home Jobs - How to Find a Real Work at Home Job
Prior to the rash of recent bank failures, I had a well-paying job with a large financial institution. Like many of my fellow financial industry co-workers, I was laid off. And even though my particular company (who shall remain nameless) received a hefty government bailout, my position was never reinstated.
With an opportunity to start all over with my career, I decided to try to find free work at home jobs. I looked on the Internet and on Craigslist and, while I had to weed through plenty of scams, I was able to find real work that I could do from my home.
Along the way, I learned a lot about how to find legitimate work that would earn me at least the same amount of money that I could earn on any other part-time job.
1. Paid job boards don’t work. These are sites that, for a membership fee, claim to provide you with offers for work from home. Any job listing these site have are ones you can find on your own.
2. Seek work with established companies. Most salaried work-at-home jobs are real positions with established companies. For example, there is a great trend for large companies to staff their call-centers with personnel who work from their homes.
3. Stick with what you know. Your best chance at landing a great online job is finding one that matches your already proven skills and talents. If you’re experienced at data entry, seek out an online position that requires dealing with data.
With the pervasive power of the Internet the prospects of finding real work from home have never been better.
